While this might be the same Jerry Valente who has a couple of entries over at Muscle Memory, pinning down "Onni Saari" could be a bit trickier. There are listings for a professional graphic artist who lived in New York during the late 50s/early 60s; he also drew and painted many male nudes, some of which can be seen here. I can't seem to find any reference to him taking photographs, however. Very nice studies, in any case!

Most definitely, that name is Finnish. Not a common handle, to be honest, but growing up in northern Ontario, I've gotten to know some Fin handles and that is one of them. I had a friend whose name was Kohteilehti and another whose name was Lahnalumpi. Go figure...
