If I were Blackie Preston, looking at a reflection of my gorgeous face and sculpted body, I think I, too, might get just a little bit 'excited!' Pretty daring stuff for its day, but no less Classic for having been slightly ahead of its time! Thanks for the images, especially in context with the photos of Blackie with Jon Davidson.
Lovely set of pics and looking at the ones in which he is gazing into the water I can now appreciate why balls get called duck eggs - they look very like them.
I encountered Blackie Preston in the army (Ft. Knox, KY) in 1969. He was acting as some kind of clerk at the time and had a limp, suggesting that he had been wounded (Vietnam?). I didn't reveal that I recognized him from his modeling work.
Thanks for this series. My god is he adorable!
